Needling

Needling is the ideal therapy to significantly improve any kind of wrinkles and scars (also burn scars) by self-regeneration without significantly damaging the skin.

The treatment is particularly suitable for sun damage, acne scars, stretch marks and skin pigmentation.

Our specialist PD Dr. med. Matthias Aust is a pioneer in this field.

Treatment

Medical-needling, also known as percutaneous collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive medical treatment for improving the skin structure and regenerating unsightly scars.

Technique

During the procedure itself, the treating physician drives vertically, horizontally and diagonally over the skin of the area to be treated with a needle-mounted roller under controlled pressure. Thousands of micro wounds are created in the dermis and the skin is stimulated to produce new collagen. Depending on requirements, 1mm or 3mm needling rollers are used.
